Hej igen andra européer - Jag hoppas du kan hjälpa mig att förstå den automatiska huvuden borttagning används i Riku: s VM-E-ARC design.
Innan jag börjar kan jag säga att jag har köpt Riku bok - det bara inte kommit än! Känn dig fri att tänka mig otålig. Detta har dock lagt fram en unik möjlighet för en del spekulation från min sida. Här är min fråga: är den automatiska huvuden bort systemet helt enkelt en del extra packning ovanför produkten ventilen (LM, VM, RLM, VM-E-ARC), men under reflux kondensor, kombinerat med en reflux fälla och huvuden reservoar (vars volymen beräknas enligt din start tvätta volym och alkoholhalt) som har sin egen utloppsventilen? I huvudsak gör kolumnen till mer som något kommersiellt används till olje vilken produkter av olika sammansättning tas bort beroende på höjden på kolonnen (bitumen i botten, bensin över den, och hela vägen till metan), förutom med bara 2 ventiler i stället för 10 eller så.
Jag inser att informationen i boken är tänkt att vara något exklusivt, men om du kunde svara mig utan att förolämpa Riku (jag har stor respekt för honom som en kolumn designer), då skulle avlasta min otålighet av den internationella porto service!

Before I begin I might say I have purchased Riku's book - it just hasn't arrived yet! Feel free to consider me impatient. This has, however, presented a unique opportunity for some speculation on my part. Here is my query: is the automatic heads removal system simply a section of extra packing above the product valve (LM, VM, RLM, VM-E-ARC) but underneath the reflux condensor, combined with a reflux trap and heads reservoir (whose volume is calculated according to your starting wash volume and alcohol percentage) that has its own outlet valve? Essentially, making a still into more like something commercially used for oil whereby products of different composition are taken off according to the height of the column (bitumen at the bottom, petrol above that, and all the way to methane), except with only 2 valves instead of 10 or so.
I realise that the information in the book is supposed to be somewhat exclusive, but if you could answer me without insulting Riku (I have great respect for him as a column designer), then that would relieve my impatience of the international postage service!
